President’s Bio

Michael Davis

Michael is an accomplished business and management consultant and visionary thought leader with more than twenty years of international, multi-national, government, and cross-industry experience in creating ground-breaking initiatives and building successful partnerships and strategic alliances that drove superior execution across the globe.     Mr. Davis is recognized as an innovative new business leader and change agent with a proven track record of transforming strategic big picture thinking into solutions yielding new business value.  He has global consulting expertise working at Hewlett Packard, Compaq Computers, and Tandem Computers.

Mr. Davis is a serial entrepreneur having founded and co-founded a number of companies.  The companies include co-founding an internet security services startup company, launching a national retail franchise store, and starting several e-commerce companies.  Michael is the founder and Managing Director of MJD Management Group consultancy and a recipient of the South Fulton Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur Award. Mr. Davis is the president of the Camp Creek Business Association.

Mr. Davis has an extensive leadership background in the non-profit sector having co-founded and served as principal for three 501c (3) companies. Michael co-founded Seeking Progress for All Reaching Children (SPARC) in Norwalk, CT where he served as board director, CFO, and treasurer.  Michael co-founded Wonderland Gardens Inc. in Atlanta GA, where he has served as board chair and board director. Most recently in 2015, Michael was a co-founder of the National Alliance of Special Event Fundraising in Atlanta, GA.

Mr. Davis holds a BBA in Management Information Systems from the Terry School of Business at the University of Georgia and an Executive MBA from the Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. While attending Goizueta Business School, Mr. Davis was the recipient of the Goizueta Business School Al Bows Outstanding Executive MBA Achievement Award. Michael is an active Emory alumnus, member of the Atlanta Business School Alliance, and a mentor for The Wright Answer, a global online mentor program.

Michael is an Atlanta Beltline Tax Advisory District Advisory Committee (TADAC) member, Economic Development Chair for the South Fulton Economic Development Ambassador Committee, Economic Development Chair for the Fulton County District 5 Constituent Task Force, President of the Camp Creek Business Association, Ambassador for the South Fulton Chamber of Commerce (SFCC), and member of the SFCC.  He is a NPU-D Alternate Delegate, a CUMC NPU-I Liaison, and a Green Energy Council Atlanta Ambassador.

Mr. Davis is a public speaker, author, guest radio host, and panelist. Michael enjoys competitive tennis, international travel, photography, cycling, running, and ostrich riding. Mr. Davis lives in Atlanta, GA with his daughter and his Bouvier des Flandres dog.
